The Shockwave Triggers v1.3.4 demo runs with a flawless and silky-smooth 60fps framerate on the Steam Deck (both 1st-gen LCD and Oled variants). It is a 398.5mb d/l and needs the "Proton Experimental Booter" to start it up/run.
It has a cool opening FMV clip using hand-drawn anime inspired sprites (a tribute/nod towards the old-school arcade pcb stg titles released back in the mid-1990s era with the gameplay and sprites borrowing from past Cave and 8ing-Raizing influenced arcade stgs of lore with a slick and very polished "steampunk vibe/flair" going on).

It surely needs an Exa Arcadia release which would benefit from more arcade/game center exposure indeed.

Quite cool with Steam supported "online" leaderboard support with the ST demo as it is.

Shockwave Triggers out on Steam 10-21-2025.....
The dev team that previously released the indie stg "Wings of Bluestar" have finally released their second indie stg title aptly named "Shockwave Triggers" on Steam as of 10/21/2025. It has an MSRP of $9.99 with a 10% off introductory offer of $8.99 for limited time. It's a 399.2mb d/l at best. There is the option to play ST in both yoko and tate if so desired.
