Hello,
A few months ago, I played a shoot 'em up (shmup) for the first time and since then I have purchased Arcade1up (with shmups softmod), Evercade Alpha, and Astro City Mini 5.
Are there any other good arcade machines available for less than €500?
Is the Taito Egret 2 Mini currently available anywhere? On Aliexpress and Ebay, I can only find products with Japanese packaging.
Are the system overlay and games available in English?
More (mini?) Arcades?

There's the SNK Neo-Geo Mini International Version set (with two Neo-Geo CD styled gamepads included, a mini to regular sized hdmi cable & usb-c power supply cable) with Yumekobo's Blazing Star stg, SNK's Last Resort stg & SNK's Ghost Pilots stg titles along with Metal Slug 1, 2, X, 3, 4 & 5 (the Japanese variant mini Neo-Geo has a different set of stg titles including Alpha Mission II, Blazing Star & Twinkle Star Sprites -- the Neo-Geo Bowling game is quite fun to play as well & is included with the JPN region mini Neo-Geo set as a exclusive). The on-board miniature arcade stick lights up with a cool and slick blue LED illuminated circular border for a bit of elegance and class. It's requires a seperate A/C adapter with 5v @ 1 amp to power it up. It first went on sale back in 2019 during the mini console craze/fad going on with the mini NES, mini Famicom, mini MD/Genesis 1 & 2, mini PC Engine/Core Grafx/TurboGrafx-16 (released & sold back in 2020) and the mini PSX from SCEI themselves.

Add the optional 3rd-party manufactured Mayflash usb controller adapter, the "Mayflash Magic-S 2 Pro," with the ability to use other 3rd-party manufactured gaming controllers & arcade sticks on the mini Neo-Geo cab for greater versatility (bonus points if you use another 3rd-party arcade stick or gamepad that has built-in auto-fire capability which is a crucial necessity with the Blazing Star stg indeed): https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-Wireles ... r=8-3&th=1
I bought a Mayflash Magic-S 2 Pro controller adapter and it works like a charm with the mini Neo-Geo cab as Blazing Star is quite notorious in maintaining a certain fire-rate, especially if you want the "powered-up bullets" option if you're playing the Windaria fightercraft without "wear 'n' tear" on your fingers -- an auto-fire equipped gamepad or arcade stick is strongly recommended for a serious gaming sesion of Blazing Star.
