Time Crisis 30th anniversary

Post by xEbb1993x »

The Time Crisis series turns 30 this year, 2025. Bandai Namco, whatever you're doing, please do something special like finally port Time Crisis 5 to consoles or have a compilation of all five games!

This is a good anniversary!

I really enjoyed the Arrange mode from the PS port of the original. I've always wondered if Project Titan is any good, but I haven't owned a CRT for 10 years at this point.

Thankfully there are multiple rather good IR and camera based solutions these days — easy enough to get up and running with an emulator or even real hardware.

You’re talking about the Special Mode which has Richard Miller going after Kantaris, right?

There's the plug and play coming out soon. Too bad it doesn't include more games.

I just want a console port of Time Crisis 5. I don’t want Namco to waste the anniversary on a plug and play controller.

I still don’t understand why they’re doing a plug and play of the original Time Crisis instead of porting all five games as part of a compilation…

Given Switch 2's Joycon mouse control offering 1:1 pointer support w/out a sensor bar, we may see "light-gun" games making a resurgence and perhaps some Wii remakes/remasters. I suspect we may also see Switch 2 RE4 remake with pointer support and it become the go-to version much like RE4 Wii.

Can't see why not. You can use a mouse and keyboard with Dolphin for Wii games.

What with Taito/M2's Operation Nightstrikers release maybe we'll see a new Operation Wolf game.

Didn't we already get a new Operation Wolf game two years ago? It was Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission.
