This is a small story, but I am posting it because I was able to pattern it.
- STAGE 5 (level 900) ~ FINAL BOSS -
https://youtu.be/Tc6MaY2TZ8Y?si=DxLST31lJPSRPr0w
The final BOSS puts up a barrier in response to the break shot, disabling the break, but if it enters break mode again within the duration of this barrier, it can use the break shot to inflict damage from where the barrier expires.
To do so, it is necessary to devise a way to accumulate the counter gauge, and by making contact with the boss and with enemy bullets at the same time, the gauge accumulation is accelerated.
However, when purging the counter gauge to increase the break gauge, for some reason it does not accumulate well when overlapping with the boss, so it accumulates well if you keep a moderate distance and suck enemy bullets.
The main uses that come to mind are to increase scores and RTAs. If scoring points is the priority, it would be ideal to save the shield until the end of the boss battle in STAGE 5 and fill up the counter and break gauges before the last boss battle.
I personally have a good affinity for this STG and play it often as it is a great way to relax.
Amateur STG is a lot of fun because the techniques are often unexpected because of the lack of formality.
[P.S.]
I am not good at familiarity, so I am always looking for ways to connect mainly through videos and drawing.
See you then.

Re: Graze Counter GM - How to Disable the Final BOSS Break Barrier
Good evening.
Thank you for your help with DOGYUUN!! (Steam version) last year.
I look forward to working with you again this year.
I came up with this idea after watching videos of other people playing and noticing that the barrier and break shot effect times sometimes do not mesh.
It was too late to take a video because I had moved on to distributing the “Dogyuun!!” game when I learned of this phenomenon, but it was very interesting, as if we were getting a glimpse of the Graze Counter author's production process.
Also, on an unimportant note, I did the MBTI diagnosis the other day and got an “INTP-A” result, which I thought was rather accurate (laughs).
...In any case, it is one of the few STGs I can live stream and play, so I will enjoy it as long as I can.
The following is an archive of Graze Counter GM's game distribution (using a sub-account).
