I bought this PVM from japan. The description said the screen had a red tint...and I bought it for super cheap thinking it may be fixable.
Long story short the monitor was damaged pretty bad during shipping but I got a local repair shop to fix the damage to the neckboard etc.
The screen now works but with no color, and everything has a red tint. Any idea what the issue could be? The bottom image was from the auction, before any shipping damage.
Are all the RGB colors displaying, or are any of the colors totally missing (displaying as black)?
Might be possible to repair it, but you'd probably need to take it to someone who has experience with CRTs or at least someone who can do some more diagnostics. That looks like an M2 series, the service manuals should be available online for those.
