n64 image problem

Post by pollopunk »

Hi, I have a problem with the image on my N64. The image has a ghost effect, which is more noticeable in bright colors. The problem persists, both with the S-video cable and with the composite cable. Any suggestions on what it could be? I'll leave a link with the images.

Since you've tried two sets of cables, the two simplest things to do would be to try it on a different display and try a different power supply. If neither of those fix it, the issue would be harder to nail down.

I already tried it on another TV, and it has the same problem. I was thinking of getting another power supply because with this one it was constantly restarting, but placing a piece of cardboard between the power supply and the console solved that problem. I will try to get another power supply to rule that out. THANK YOU.
