The title comes from when I was admitted to the hospital for 2 weeks at the beginning of October. At that time, when I closed my eyes. I saw weird shapes that were made from body parts and flesh warped together. So, I use it as inspiration for making this game. And I called it "Weird Dreams of Flesh". ( I cut "of" to make it fit in 3 characters. )
Features:
It's a horizontal shmup game with a boss rush style with 4 stages.
Each stage starts with a few patterns of enemies before the boss appears. After the player clears all stages, the game begins with a new loop. The enemy pattern will be different and slightly longer than the previous loop, the boss will have one extra phase compared to the prior loop.
The weapons will change based on the current hp of the ships if they are close to destruction. The weapon becomes more powerful.

The game still doesn't have a Steam page yet but I have planned to add a new branch in `USG` and The owner of `USG` can try the in-development build by swapping the branch on Steam. The build should be ready before the end of November 2024.
The progress of the development going well. Currently, it has multiple ship types available to choose from.
- The ship type C focuses on cancelling bullets to continue using the special weapon. It comes with a main weapon as a pea shooter that does nothing to the enemy.

The game was developed using `Rust` language with `Tetra` framework because the syntax of the language prevented me from doing anything stupid that could cause memory leaks or errors.
The game is made from the source code of USG and adds something new on top.
The title and theme came from the weird images that appeared in my dream for weeks when I stayed at the hospital.
`WDF` stand for `Weird Dream of Flesh` or `What Da f***!` I just play.
The game took around 3.5 months to develop. It started on 1st Nov 2024.
The budget for this game is around $135. It doesn't include labour costs. (Steam fee $100, $25 Humble Bundle music, $10 Explosion VFX)

That was very fantastic, I clearly that you worked hard-time development, I hope you take a wrapped up from the personal works and i really enjoyed your progress.
