Hello everyone, I bought the RGB shifter board for centering the screen on my Sony Trinitron.

The problem is that I have a male-to-male scart that outputs a very dark black image (nothing can be distinguished).
This happens to me with my Japanese Super Famicom. However, with my PAL ps1 it works without problem. Summary:
-Japanese Super Famicom => RGB to the board=> Scart Cable from the board to the TV => Dark image.
-PS1 PAL => RGB to the board => Scart cable from the board to the TV => Image ok.
If I connect the super famicom directly to the TV it works without problems. Both the board and the TV are compatible with NTSC. I believe that the problem is in the male to male scart cable that I use from the plate to the TV. What could be the problem? I know the NTSC snes cable has a different voltage or something like that. May be related?
Maybe it would be solved with a male to male scart cable from retrogamingcables?
Thanks.

Re: Problem RGB scart male to male Japanese SFC
You could try a convertor from JPN 21-pin RGB to Scart setup with the JPN 21-pin RGB cable being used in the SFC first, then hooked up to the JPN 21-pin RGB to Scart adapter. Hopefully this'll work.
Japanese Super Famicom ---> SFC JPN 21-pin RGB cable ---> JPN 21-pin RGB to Scart adapter cable or convertor pcb ---> RGBs adjustment board ---> Scart cable output from RGBs board using a Euro Scart cable ---> RGB monitor
The wiring setup of JPN 21-pin RGB is different compared to Euro Scart, hence the need to use an adapter in the overall chain.

Also, SFC RGB cables should have capacitors in them to brighten the image. Original Nintendo brand cables are known to leak and need the caps replaced or picture will be very dark.
