pos or neg feedback

Post by D »

I bought this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %26fvi%3D1

But the pcb gives an error on booting right in the beginning.
The colors are not displayed right, minnor graphic glitches.
Should I give him neg. feedback?
I'd like to warn buyers that he really didn't package the pcb right.
He packaged it in whimpy thin fruit box.
And this pcb I gigantic 3 pcb layers 50 CM X 30 CM, I'd say, I mean huge and heavy and very unprotected.
I can't tell if it is the shipping that did it.
On the other hand the game still plays.
What should I do? the game is 16 years old.
What would you do?

Work with him to see if you can get a refund. Is it a bootleg? If you don't get any job - it's time for the negative.

you should definetly talk to the seller first, preferably way before you make this kind of post.

if the seller doesnt respond to emails (and give him a week or two for christ sake, not everyone sits by their computers all day) or if he tells you to f**k off then yeah.. negative

Was there no picture when you bid? If not, why did you bid on this?

Don't, never ever Neg a seller before negotiate for a return for refund. Once you give him a neg, it's the end of it and the seller would no longer willing to negotiate with you anymore.

Your best bet is not to give any feedback (use the ability of posting a Neg feedback as a treat) and try to negotiate for a return for refund.

BTW, are you making your payment via PayPal? You may file a PayPal charge back, if the seller refuse to offer a return for refund. But beware that the PayPal charge back cannot be filed after 45 days of payment, IIRC.
