In a recent thread, someone mentioned Sega Rally SS had been improved for the PAL release. There's gotta be others as well.ptoing wrote:ICO and now SOTC are the only games i can think of that are better in the PAL version (and stuff like Vib Ribbon which has a PAL but no US release).
I already have the US version but i am sure to buy this again when it comes out.
Yeah, there are. The PAL version of Metal Gear Solid 3 has everything that's now included in the new Subsistence release, bar the online game and (pointless) movie DVD.Neon wrote:In a recent thread, someone mentioned Sega Rally SS had been improved for the PAL release. No it doesn't - there are several new things in Subsistence, most notabely the new Splinter Cell-esque camera.E. Randy Dupre wrote:Yeah, there are. The PAL version of Metal Gear Solid 3 has everything that's now included in the new Subsistence release, bar the online game and (pointless) movie DVD.
Ah, yeah. Forgot about that. But then, seeing as it's a camera angle that's totally at odds with how the game was designed to be played, I'm not sure that it's anything that's worth having.judesalmon wrote:No it doesn't - there are several new things in Subsistence, most notabely the new Splinter Cell-esque camera.
Yeah, just found out today that this will be a limited run for the first batch - after that it's back to a standard DVD case. Not sure how many there will be, but it will sell for the bargainous price of £29.99.
Like the Japanese version it will also have the dramatic slow motion for the final stab when you kill a colossus.it290 wrote:@#@&!@ that box is awesome! If the game features additional gameplay as well, I might have to get the PAL version. Pretty much all of these PS2 3d titles can run in NTSC, right (pretty sure Swap Magic can force 'em to run in NTSC anyway, but hey...)?
