You go into the controls, you map the buttons you want to use, then you go into the autofire section in MAMEPlus, you change the setting for the appropriate buttons from Off to ON, and you set the autofire rate. If you're using custom buttons so you have button 1 normal and a custom button for button 1 rapid, go under custom buttons and press 1, 2, etc to map those custom buttons to ingame button 1, etc.
