ProtoCorgi has been updated to version 1.1

Post by hearto »

Hello, I wanted to share that the game I've been working on for many years, ProtoCorgi, which was released this year, has just been updated to version 1.1. This update includes numerous improvements to the game and introduces new content, such as a caravan mode.
If you have played the game on Steam before, I encourage you to check it out again! For those who have yet to try it, ProtoCorgi is currently on sale as part of the Steam Shmup Fest! It's available in Nintendo Switch and Epic Store too.
If you liked to known more about the game, you can watch the trailer here:

Came here to hate, but then realized I was thinking of Horgihugh and Friends (that miserable piece of shit) instead. Carry on.
Formerly known as 8 1/2. I return on my second credit!

Good new about update. Is it on Switch too ?

I remember playing the game but dropping for lisibility and comprehension reasons.

I wonder if a limited physical release is in the cards.

Game looks really cool but I never buy digital, so here's hoping.

As the date of this post the update is not on Nintendo Switch. We are waiting for the greenlight of our publisher for the port.
The patch 1.1 new brightness options helps to address the visibility problems. There have been improvements in the asset colors too.

We would love to release a physical version!. The viability of this depends of game sales and our publisher, for now there are no plans of a physical version.

I hope your publisher won't forget about that or anything. A small limited print run of a shoot'em up basically sells itself. Maybe go for Super Rare oder Red Art because they're in Europe and can do 3000 copies instead of the American minimum quantity of 5000.
Easy money! :)
