Bought a small monitor on aliexpress. The screen of my monitor uses a MIPI interface.

Would that be a problem for any reason? Does it mean something bad? Perhaps for the longevity of the monitor? Replaceability of parts?

The controller board is the T.SK105A.03, and it can be found for cheap.

However, the controller board use another extraneous board that converts LVDS to MIPI and from this it goes into the screen itself, but this converter board does not seem to be available now for purchase in single units.

There is an inscription on the back side of the converter board that begins with JX-8918, and with that name googles returns almost no relevant results, one being an alibaba result and the other aliexpress both seem interested in selling in large quantities.

Here's the two relevant links I have found

Also LVDS to MIPI converters don't seem to be something easily available.

I'd like my monitor to be easily fixable in case of part failure. It would suck if this converter board failed and then my MIPI screen just sits without a way to use it.
