New INH DVD

Post by zlk »

It looks like Trizeal will released for the ps2. It also looks like INH will make a replay dvd for XII Stag and Trizeal.

I remember hearing that Trizeal'd be coming to PS2 some time ago, though I never woulda expected a superplay DVD for it or Stag. Also, the page seems to say that the PS2 port will include some new minigame or other on it...was a release date for the PS2 port ever announced? I don't see one on that page.

Also, if I read the web address correctly, that appears to be Triangle Service's main page...the only links I see there are to other companies' sites. What happened to the rest of Triangle's site?

I've been waiting for Trizeal PS2 ever since the initial announcement, I was afraid it had been cancelled. Good to hear it's still coming.

The superplay DVD is very surprising news indeed. Pretty cool.

Play-Asia has already opened up pre-orders for the game.

Honestly, a super-play DVD of Trizeal doesn't surprise me. In fact, I was actually expecting that to be included as a bonus with the PS2 version.

Fujino wants to go out of his way to get his games recognized, the more publicity the better.

Granted, I am a bit relieved that I won't have to buy a second copy of Trizeal to get a replay DVD. Now, hopefully INH will include the shot of the player's hands for the XII Stag replay. I want to see looney-mad joystick wiggling! ;) Maybe one of the out-takes will include a joystick breaking.

12x bonus. D:

I'm seriously looking forward to this replay though. Too bad I won't be able to get my hands on it for a while.

There are 3 good reasons to check out this Set, should be easy to spot ^^

One thing for sure, CocoeBiz won't have problems getting hold of this. (Too bad about Ibara, but I'm not losing hope on that just yet)

Would the PS2 version of Trizeal support progressive scan mode?

Since the DC version support VGA mode, if the PS2 version not support Progress scan, it would be infinial to the DC version.

Datam Polystar's website:
http://www.datam.co.jp

The Trizeal page:
http://www.datam.co.jp/product/tr/main.html

I can't find a listing for the disc type though.

Very nice info. Thank you Kiken for enlightening me. I'll just have to pray for it to be on a DVD (my PS2 plays CD's fine but all those rumors make me somewhat paranoid of it's future).

Just one simple question, who is the composer of the music, the bonus CD inlay lists NAON & NAOTO. Does this mean there are two composers ?

NAOTO composed all of XIISTAG music. Perhaps the other composer NAON did Trizeal?

Considering that the bonus CD includes soundtracks from both Triangle Service games ((XII Stag and Trizeal), we can assume that there was a different composer for each game.

I was not aware of that, since I don't read/speak Japanese and the tracks were on a Trizeal Bonus CD I naturally assumed they were Trizeal :D

Thanks for the heads up Kiken!

The DVD includes replays from both games so INH are including OSTs from both games (which is perfect as both games have some really great tracks).

Tracks 1-12 are from XII Stag. Tracks 13-25 are from Trizeal. Tracks 26-28 are remixes from Trizeal's first and fifth stages. The remixes appearing on this CD are different from those found on the Trizeal Bonus Tracks CD that was included as a pre-order bonus with the game.

Two new demo videos from the DVD were posted. It appears that the player UMC-Funakko (Trizeal with standard ship) actually uses a tactical suicide at some point in stage 5.

Seems to be as a good a place as any to mention that Play-Asia is now stocking ALL the INH DVDs. Link to news post.

T.Fujino (Triangle Service head honcho) will autograph the first 50 of an INH DVD+PS2 Trizeal set, only offered through Datam Polystar's online shop (Trizeal PS2 publisher). The shooting love continues.

http://www.datam.co.jp/mainframe.html <--note: Japan only

Also, the 6th Insanity Cup (kind of arcade tournament organized by INH) will feature Trizeal. Mr. Fujino will be there for a Q&A session, etc.

I resurrect thee!

Two more videos posted:
http://www.inhgroup.com/item/love/

One from the XII Stag replay and one from the Outtakes section.

I also note that CocoEbiz still don't seem to have a pre-order link for this yet and the DVD is only about 2 weeks away from release.

THE OUTTAKES SECTION FEATURES JOYSTICK WIGGLING!!!!

My life is now officially complete.

Check out the fifth video and keep a close eye on the upper right-hand corner of the screen. ACF manhandles the living hell out of the joystick.

No... I think all my joystick wiggling will be done vicariously. ;)

Hell, listen on that fifth video during the second portion... you can hear Fujino cracking up while watching ACF's hands.
