Alright, so I've hooked up a bunch of consoles to my newly re-acquired D24 (had one about 8 years ago, not since) and most work nicely, but a few don't.
Things that aren't working with the cables I have:
PC Engine CoreGrafx 2 with Turbonanza (my Saturn cable works with my Saturn, but will not sync not with this).
PS1 (Won't sync)
N64 (No picture at all, works on another monitor fine)
Most of my stuff is setup Console -> BNC cable -> BNC to DSUB15 adapter -> DSUB15 Matrix -> DSUB15 to BNC -> D24
Will the DSUB15 cables for Saturn/SNES/PS1 from retroaccess work directly with my setup? I tried messaging them through their site about a week ago with no reply at all. Or should I be looking for other BNC cabling with specific sync setups (luma vs composite vs built-in sync stripper, etc)?

Have you circumvented your DB15 craziness and gone straight BNC from the console cables? --literally 5x connections how you say you're running it now, instead of 2x running a sraight-to-BNC cable (just to rule that out).
Are you also positive your DB15 switcher plays nice with RGBS and/or non-standard non-csync (which these cables might be, also possibly dependent on console version, yada yada)? I know PS1/2 for instance uses sync on luma on most, and to use in my Extron switcher I need sync strippers for them.
Also not familiar with Turbonanza but a couple google hits don't mention sync type... (also not familiar if there's several different flavors of Saturn with different sync like some other consoles can have.
RetroAccess are fucking horrid though - good luck reaching them or placing an order (glad I got my like 14+ cables from them when they were still on eBay and would get bad feedback if they stiffed you... which seemingly is the ONLY thing that actually made them reply to emails and actually be able to place orders with them...).

Anyway, I have a straight-to-BNC cable from RetroAccess for my USA Saturn and it works just fine on my BVM-D20F1U and a bunch of other BVM/PVM's (assume going to DB15 with standard pinout would be just as good).DejahThoris wrote: Will the DSUB15 cables for Saturn/SNES/PS1 from retroaccess work directly with my setup? Re: My "Help my figure out cables?" thread - D24 edition
I should have stated I already tried skipping straight to the monitor from the consoles with 0 luck.
The DSUB15 setup is entirely passive, it does nothing at all to the signals nor does it care what you pass into them. The issue seems to be the cables. Like whatever my Saturn one is is simply not wired how the turbonanza needs. :/
