DIY Dreamcast to SCART to OSSC to HDMI advice

Hi,
I don't know if this really makes any sense so I was hoping to get some advice before I take the plunge. I already have an OSSC and HDTV with only HDMI inputs.

I was going to make this DIY board (switchable between 15 and 31khz) to get SCART. From there I would go to OSSC to HDMI to HDTV.

Has anyone done this before? Or just get the Retro-access one bc it almost seems like it's the same thing? Thanks.
