Hi guys. Ive been researching the topic of replacement PSUs for my japanese PS1, Saturn and Dreamcast. I reside in Norway, and would prefer to have one adapter instead of a stepdown converter.
I think Ive read almost all posts and tweets possible about this topic now, and from what I understand the stance is divided.
Ive excluded any chinese aftermarket product like Bitfunx etc.
I know Voultar and others have reviewed some of these unfavourably in the past(the original schematics).
Ive found alot of people seem to use these and are happy with the results anyway.
Have the community come to a conclusion as of yet, if these PSUs are stable and trustworthy now in the year 2023(with possible updates to the schematics)?
I have found these two shops with apperently good quality products:
https://rexusnexus.com/shop/
https://www.willsconsolemodifications.c ... path=59_70
For a power adaptor, Im thinking something like this: (or Triad)
https://www.digikey.no/en/products/deta ... 12/7897372
My OEM PSUs in the consoles are in tip top shape measured with a Voltmeter, my stepdown converter is of a decent build quality, so its only for QoL and ease of use Im looking into this possibility.
Im running Fenrir, Xstation and GDemu.
Replacement PSU's (Pico, Dream, ReSaturn, etc)
