I'm playing a bit of NGBC at the moment (decent game btw, although the load times on PS2 suck), and one of the backgrounds in the game depicts a museum with the vehicles from Last Resort and Armored Scrum Object II on display. I can't find a screenshot, but it's pretty nifty. I thought it was a nice homage to some shmups gone by. It also has some vehicle from Top Hunter in the scene.
We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
Heh interesting, that must be the BG layer only, as in game there are various people standing around as well.

Man that's amazing, they even got the Top Hunter mech in there.
At first I was surprised the almighty Metal Slug Super Vehicle wasn't included, then I realized it had to be a hall of vehicles for lesser-known Neo games.
Yeah, plus I don't think the Slug would really fit in -- it just wouldn't look right all shiny and whatnot.

Good stuff though, thanks for the shot.
The Metal Slug is in the game though. Marco is one of the playable characters and uses it in some of his attacks.
