Second review though, one can relate to the aspect of having HD stuff mixed with retro graphics, I dont like it either.

I was coaching my nephew as to how to capture a boss and I instructed "It's like Pokemon, you have to knock most of his health off before throwing the ball"

I was wondering the same thing, and from what I can tell it appears there is no difference from what is included on the Cozmic Revelation pack. If anyone knows otherwise, please share!

When you insert the JPN physical Switch cart for Cozmic Revelation, it actually adds two different application icons to your home screen: one for G Darius HD (which is the part M2 worked on), and one for Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+ (AFAIK, no M2 involvement). These individual releases seem to be the exact same things, split out for individual sale.

FWIW, G-Darius HD got a pretty substantial post-release update, which most notable added several new game variants.
Original release had:
(1) G-Darius (original arcade) and
(2) G-Darius HD

The "version 2" update added three more versions:
(3) G-Darius Ver.2 (updated version with beginner mode, gameplay adjustments)
(4) G-Darius Ver.2 HD
(5) G-Darius for Consumer (the PS1 port)
