I recently did an S-Video mod to my Trinitron KV-27S40. (By the way, all of the board components were there, it literally just was hooking up an S-Video connector and a switch to ground the AV Switch Pin.) Regardless after the mod I noticed an odd line only on the left side of the screen. I thought it was only S-Video but, in fact, it shows up with a composite input as well - just much more faint.
Anyway, I'm not afraid of trying to figure this out. I went through every adjustment on the service menu and none of those made a difference. I find it odd that it is only on one side and it moves with the image when I made adjustments on the service menu, so that rules out something physical on the tube (I think.) Would appreciate any insight you may have. It's unfortunate because I just got the S-Video mod up and running.
