Ring and ball puzzle mystery

Post by Venom »

I found a puzzle in my room, that I solved years ago but never put back together. I have no idea of the name or where it was purchased. I want to put it back together to solve it again, or let others have fun with it. Here are a couple pictures, if you know what the starting position is supposed to be I'd appreciate it. I know the ring is on the rope above the balls, and that the rope is strung through the wire somehow. I think through the middle. Not sure if in the solution the rope is removed.

Thanks.

That's the Derringer from Puzzle Master.

I've never worked a wire disentaglement puzzle. How was it?

I'm tempted to pick up a few of these. I remember when we had such things back in grade school. They were always fun until you solve them :)

Thanks :D

It was pretty good, but as with most of them, once you know where to go they are solved quickly. Back when I originally got it, I played around for a bit, then manipulated it in my mind and found a solution I thought would work, luckily it did (can't remember what it was atm).

Sudoku puzzles have become my timewaster for now.
