Fan port for the X68000. At first glance, it looks like slowdown isn't as bad as it is on the PCB, although it's been a while since I last played it:

A simple look at the comments will confirm that it is a fan port, and extremely badass at that.
The only wrong way to play a game is whatever stops you from having fun with it.
