Do we have a easier strategy for 1CC Ikaruga Hard?

Hi all,

I want to 1CC Ikaruga (on Steam, Hard mode). Currently, I search the 1CC videos, but nearly all of them are difficult to follow.
It seems that the strategies in the videos are aimed at achieving incredible scores, rather than 1CC with no lives left.

So, do we have some easier videos to follow?

Try looking adding "survival" to your search, as it indicates a run that isn't score focused.

This exactly. Ikaruga is a very memorization-heavy game, and learning some basics before ramping up will pay off well in the end. I did a semi-survival 1CC when it came out on DC and it must have taken me a few months of practice to get it.

And I'll add that hard may not be the most fun mode. You have to be VERY selective and cautious with your shots. I see it more like an extra for those who want more out of the game.

It's still fun though.

Hard mode is hard in Ikaruga, I also definitely recommend getting the 1CC in normal first.
After little research I could not find hard clear which are not totally focused on scoring either.

As far as I know, there isn't a "classic" guide for survival Ika hard. BUT, if you have a modern platform version (Steam, Switch, PS, Xbox) you can dowload run's replay from to the leaderboard. Just select a run that can be of interest for you (guess by score), download it and study it.
