Best S-Video solution for Mega Drive model 1?
I'd really like to use my Model 1 JP Mega Drive with my OSSC, but searches aren't really leading me to results I have confidence in. All things being equal I'd prefer an external solution, not having soldered anything since electricity class in high school.

The Koryuu was designed for using composite and s-video devices with the OSSC:

I'm not sure it's as ideal as using a scaler that directly supports composite and s-video, but if you really want to use the OSSC, it's probably your best option.
EDIT: Wait, I misread, you're dealing with a Mega Drive, which has no s-video output. And the OSSC has no s-video input. So why are we talking about S-Video here? Just use an RGB SCART cable or HDRV component cables to connect the Mega Drive to the OSSC.

Because I spaced out and mixed those two things upGuspaz wrote:To Koryuu was designed for using composite and s-video devices with the OSSC:

I wish this was the first time I'd done it, too. Thanks for answering my question one way or another
