Sure Rainbow Cotton is a controversial game in the way the characters are situated on screen, but I've always personally loved the game as it's given me some solid Tobe Polystars / Planet Harriers vibe...but now with an english story? I am even more into it because now I know what's going on lol

Anyone else check the new translation out yet?

I have it and it's... not real great. (edit: I mean the original, and not the translation)

It's biggest problem it's that it's just kind of a janky mess. Very thrown together feeling, and not very fun to play.
