N64RGB and 3.3v Voltage Regulator Help

I had an older a Tim's N64RGB 1.2 installed a couple years back. I noticed some signal noise and got the Borti4938’S N64 3.3v Voltage Regulator. I found a picture where to install the board under the N64 board and solder the 3 pins and then the wire to the 3.3 pad. My question is where exactly do I solder the other end of the wire? To the 3v3 pad at the bottom of the RGB board? Do I have to unsolder any other wires like the 3v3 on the DENC column? If possible please include pictures to avoid confusion. Thanks!
