Standard joystick/button brands for various candy cabs?

So are there standard joysticks/buttons that certain candy cab brands initially ship with? I ask because I'm planning on making a astro city themed mayflash f500, and was interested in putting in a ls-32. I think I read that this was the standard for astro city, but I'm not sure.

Does the standard joystick/buttons even matter all that much though? Like did arcade operators tend to swap out the stock parts to better suit whatever game was in the cab at the time?

I currently have a madcatz xbox 360 stick with ls-56 and stock sanwa buttons that I use for shmups and older 90's era fighting games, and a razer panthera with a crown 309mj and stock sanwa buttons that I primarily modded for Tekken, but use for fighting games in general as well. I've primarily picked these sticks to try and suit particular genres, but I'm wondering if there's any point beyond personal satisfaction in building a stick with specs matching a particular candy cab.

Well the astro city manual appears to refer to an "ls-25".

The sticks that I've seen are like any regular LS-32s, except for the mounting plate, which is unique and one I haven't seen sold separately. However, the plate is only needed if you're installing them in original control panels.

So yeah, LS-32 is the one you want to go for.
