"TIMEHARVEST" - Lots of neat new AV/SCART gear on AliExpress

Post by kitty666cats »

Here is the main link to this AliExpress store, but check out the links I post below! https://timeharveststore.aliexpress.com/store/607318

Here's some of the neat stuff:

^ Interesting alternative to Extron RGB interfaces

^ SCART switch that has RGBHV out!

^ this one is a rip from AxunWork (AxunWorks?)

^ this last one I'm VERY curious about. It's another rip, from "diy918" aka "Sun" on taobao. Some of you may be aware of him, he makes a RGB to S-Video encoder for Genesis/MegaDrive, not unlike those old Micomsoft ones.

Think it's just a modded/chopped n screwed GBS8200 hiding in there? Beats me.

Anyhoo, clearly some of this stuff is some stolen designs, but I am curious where some of them even originated. I've seen that SCART / RCA RGBS image shift PCB available from ArcadeXpress, but haven't a clue who initially released it.

Would love to hear if anyone from here has taken the plunge on some of their stuff, lots of it is quite interesting-looking!

Same here, a bunch of these have been in my shopping cart for a while, would love to know if it's any good...

These things also seem neat:

Famicom console with a clone CPU/sound chip and an FPGA based PPU clone.

I forget if Timeharvest has it, but that guy "Sun" I mentioned has an RGB Famiclone that's set for PAL 50Hz! Pretty cool of him to make that.

So many mystery devices popping up, I can't keep track!!

I almost wanna message them about the mystery RGB to VGA scaler - just don’t have high hopes about getting a response in perfect English / getting anyone to admit it’s a cut-apart GBS8200 (if that’s indeed what it is! I have a gut feeling that it is.)

Man, I am still so curious about the mysterious scaler, haha. Too bad it’s far too hefty a price for something with seemingly zero English info aside from the sale listings on Timeharvest and Taobao.

If anyone has seen it mentioned elsewhere, I’d love a link!

Whatever it is, I can almost guarantee it wont be as good as a GBS8200 with GBS control. If it is any better, then you might as well get an OSSC.

Yeah, I know - I just like to see cool passion projects :) Retro Scaler A1 for instance, that thing looks real crispy. Love me some GBS Control, currently running it via a GBS 8220 instead of 8200! :)
