Advice for Voultar's Duo RGB board

Post by evil_ash_xero »

I had one of these installed, a while back. Comparing it to another system I had modded, the picture looks noticeably blurrier. I believe the low pass filter is turned on. I have no experience modding, but is this something I could do? To turn it off? If so... how?

This is the device in question. He says it can be turned on and off by "manipulating the solder strap". I don't know how I would go about doing that. So any advice is welcome.

Those two pads where it says LPF, when they are connected to each other (ie joined by a solder strap) the LPF is presumably on. So you'd need to remove that solder to disable it. Solder wick would do the trick.
