Bandridge SVB7723 scart switch leaking power

Hi, First post on this forum so I hope it's in the right place! I've finally managed to set up some of my old consoles and invested in an OSSC and a NES RGB upgrade but had an old scart switcher that was of poor quality.

I have bought a couple of manual Bandridge scart switches which are great but leak power. When I switch my PC Engine on my Gamecube power light comes on. These are 3 port switches that seem to be a cut-down version of the 5 port switch that has the same issue. They are available fairly cheaply still and I get a great picture through mine. Anyway, does any one know if I can cut a trace to fix the power leak as you can with the 5 port switch? Also is the power leak actually a problem?
