Options for Converting 15KHz WG K7000 to Dual Sync /25KHz?

I have a 25" WG K7000 incoming that is supposedly 15KHz only. I was told that the tube for the K7000 and U5000 medium res dual sync monitors is the same, and that a U5000 chassis could be used on the same tube to enable 25KHz. I have also heard that it is NOT possible. I have also heard that it IS possible, but the yoke needs to be changed to the U5000 / medium res type as well, not just the chassis.

Any Wells Gardner CRT gurus here able to shed some light on this for me?
