Seeking TV stand for the Sony PVM M2U20 Trinitron.

Post by Rock Man »

Looking for a normal size stand that holds this heavy ass TV. Don't need any of the larger stands just something that will hold this CRT provided a shelf or two.

I am also looking for a remote for said TV.

I gave up looking so I'm in the middle of knocking together a rolling cart for my PVM20L2.

It's not going to be anything special just a sturdy three-tier with some cable management holes and power-boards mounted to the rear.

Crap! Guess my current table will have to do then.

This is my setup at the moment - it's a little too high for my liking and the layout makes it difficult to manage cables though. I've since added some Logitech z623s but you get the idea:

The rolling cart I'm building will sit more or less flush with the desk (about 750mm high) and have an extra shelf. Again it won't be pretty but it will at least do the job.

^I'm impressed. It fits all your consoles neatly whereas I have a few hanging out. That said though, your right it is a bit too high for my taste.

Overall you did a great job building that man! I considered a rolling cart but I don't really see a scenario where I'm moving the TV around a lot. I plan on getting an Ikegami to or Arcade monitor to go along side my PVM. Obviously when I do that I'll need to move some crap around.

Thanks! - I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to cables and the new cart will have cable management holes with power-boards mounted to the rear which will help me keep things neat and tidy.

I wanted to build a rolling cart because my setup is currently located our study, but when I have friends over I'd like to bring it into the main living area for everyone to enjoy. I'm toying with the idea of picking up a retrotink2x SCART so I can easily run the video out to my 55".
