I'm here to talk about a project that I finished this summer.
It's called Red Ship: Scarlet Shot. It was meant to be a refinement of the gameplay of its predecessor, Green Ship,
which was a short, 3-stage danmaku game.

Red Ship: Scarlet Shot is very much a passion project. It was made with scratch, which was basically
all I knew how to use at the time.
It's probably the hardest game I've made, with two loops and 5 stages per loop.
Not to mention a particularly grueling TLB.
The scoring is based on enemy destruction and bullet hugging, like Green Ship.
Unlike Green Ship, there aren't any weird hypers that activate every time you destroy a few enemies.

It's a browser based thing and I'd recommend Chrome to play it in.
