Very smooth frame manipulation and great special effects. Looks like a great project for animation majors to try out.

Sorta off-topic, but I've often wondered what it would look and play like if shmup ships made crossovers. Vic Viper going through R-Type. R9 flying against the Bacterion. Type A from Dodonpachi fighting it against the Stonelike from Ikaruga. Psyvariar's crafts in Raiden. Kuga (from SnS) in ESPRade or XII Stag. Homura-ninja in Mars Matrix. And so forth.

Yes, I know some homebrews have tried to answer this, but still. And they naturally balance the game properly. I want to witness putting a Raiden ship into Xevious and a Solvalou fighting against Hibachi without changing the true characteristics of either one. Except for adding few power-ups for the ship, of course.

I'd thought I'd bring up this topic since it has some cool animation (albeit more complex animation compared to the animated gifs).

Friggin awesome Mortal Kombat should win one though,I,d also like to see some shmup cross-overs tell me if you ever get one to work Ghegs.
