If you love shmups so much, make a wallpaper out of it for your desktop!
Just use the printscreen and paste it in Paint and boom, done! (well, almost)
Here's my Salmander 2 wallpaper on my desktop:

Coincidentally, I recently became tired of the wallpaper that I had been using (sweet season) and put up the first wallpaper that didn't seem to bother me too much, and I actually sort of like it:

The Windows appearance is leftover from when I had Puyo Puyo Fever wallpaper up. My apologies for the file size (351 KB) and if the colors clash; I have color deficient vision.

30,000 years in the future Dennis Hopper's gigantic cybernetic head will be carved into the countryside every 10 or 12 acres to help rid the land of a pesky homoerotic angel infestation.

If anyone could hook me up with the official Gradius V wallpaper/s (1024x768), it'd be greatly appreciated.

Click on the thumbnail below for the wallpaper. It's shmup related because these two characters are in the Touhou universe.

I still search for a good Mars Matrix-wallpaper. It should be 1200x1024-sized, does anyone know where I can find one?
Currently, I have a wallpaper of Tokyo at night (helicopter view)

So in what shooter is the "Touhou” Universe exactly?
That wallpapers looks cool.
By the way...
Anyone have a hi-res wallpaper of the Lifeforce cover:

Hey Ord, I was wondering if you could post a link to that awesome Ikaruga wallpaper, without your desktop icons.
Thanks in advance.
