Hi guys
I gotta vewlix C cab and I wanna hook up my ps4 to it. I have a DVI to hdmi cable but I just get 'out of range'. I have tried setting the ps4 to 480p then reconnect, but nothing. Also I have tried holding the power on the ps4 till it beeps and I can see the menu screen on the ps4, but when i select resolution it reboots and still no image. Xbox 360 and Ps3 connect fine using the same cable.

Ps4 console to Vewlix
Re: Ps4 console to Vewlix
You have to enter safe mode hold down power button on console. Set it to 480p (maybe try 4:3 ratio, and turning off hdcp too), and then restart in 480p (power button again or controller can't remember?), and only then change resolution once you've restarted normally in 480p? ... something like that I *think* it was.
Not sure why; either some kind of auto check that kicks in otherwise, or doesn't retain safe mode changes...At least I think it was something like that... On top of which think it might depend on adapter/screen specifics whether or not the ps4 gets upset, but I think the super fallback position was making sure you restarted clean in 480p... (and then I presume 720p for viewlix afterwards).

Try disabling HDCP in the PS4settings?
PS1 Disc-Based Game ID BIOS patch for MemCard Pro and SD2PSX automatic VMC switching.
Re: Ps4 console to Vewlix
I tried that also, still the same. thanks tho

Re: Ps4 console to Vewlix
lol ... the internet is full a lot of variations. I got it working on a 720p screen after a bunch of fiddling but looking at all the info out there; got no idea now what eventually got it going... and even if I could recall what worked for me unfortunately from the lack of consistency out there, it doesn't seem to guarantee the same will work for another setup...
Doing safe mode 2 times in a row.
Get 720 working on one screen + then swap to another.
Rebuilding database while connected to the monitor to be used.
Re-initialise console (back up installs + saves if doing this) while connected to the monitor to be used.
hdcp/hmdi versions (not just on/off - not sure if this is still an option?)...
... All with differing degrees of success, all possibly related to firmware/pro/exact adapter/screen... and all with the kind of suggestion that there's a setting (or most likely combination of settings) somewhere on the ps4 that needs to be reset.
I suppose the only good news is the adaptor, cable and screen definitely work with 720p... so... just need to convince ps4 to play ball. Can only assume relates to a stupid-automatic-helpful-not-really mode switch based on some kind of past settings record...
