Black Label valuation
Those in the know, what would you say is the current market value for a mint complete boxed Daioujou Black Label kit? Anyone bought one lately other than Zak?
Cheers

You're shitting me? 150k for PCB with copied art (all of it as far as I can see)?
It's been relisted a couple of times, no bids. I would've thought half that for what it is?!
How much did BIG sell his PCB for a few months back?

$1500 is reasonable in my opinion. However if excellentcom is selling them for $1000 and you just want the pcb to play, go with them.
A mint complete black label kit with all original artwork is going to be hard to find. Unless you buy from a very reputable seller, how are you going to know the artwork is original? There is a great deal of copied artwork out there unfortunately. If you find someone who got their pcb directly from atlus/cave, and they can prove their kit is original, one thing is for certain: you are going to be paying way more than $1500 for it.

Any DOJ Black Label without original art and/or with the metal case seal broken might as well be a converted regular DOJ board.

As far as I know, such conversions are nothing more than rumor. If anybody has hard evidence of such, please post. Would be nice to be able to pick up a standard DOJ set and convert it.sven666 wrote:now thats interesting.. arent there any distinguishing features?parodius wrote:Any DOJ Black Label without original art and/or with the metal case seal broken might as well be a converted regular DOJ board.

Unfortunally the only person that could have verified this is Japhei/BlastAway/ThirdStrike. He was in the process of getting the english language DOJ rom dumped just before he was discovered to be Japhei.undamned wrote:As far as I know, such conversions are nothing more than rumor. Yes you're right, but I'd be very careful before buying a Black Label.undamned wrote:As far as I know, such conversions are nothing more than rumor. If anybody has hard evidence of such, please post.
