Has anybody here used their Extron RGB at 1080p with ADSP enabled? Have any picture issues? Were you able to solve them?
For background: I'm trying to use my Extron 201rxi to shift my Switch's output downward. Basically, the front porch is too small on many digital signals for my LaCie monitor, so the Extron compensates with its vertical shift function by increasing the front porch timing. This fixes the verical linearity issues I get from the unaltered 1080p signal
But at 1080p on my 201rxi, I get major dark areas in my picture, it's basically a severe form of ringing where bright objects cast a very dark shadow to the left. 720p it will look OK, and I was able to test the benefits of increasing front porch size with the Extron. But for Switch games I really need that 1080p output.
So any suggestions on helping my Extron deal with this problem? I may end up just buying another model to try out.

Use a DAC and the OSSC.
We apologise for the inconvenience

Well I'm already using a DAC of course. But does the OSSC have the ability to pad the front porch timings? Or maybe change 1080p at reduced LCD timings to standard CRT or LCD timings? I think the issue could be a result of the super tight timings that consoles output 1080p at.orange808 wrote:Use a DAC and the OSSC.
