Has anyone any experience with this monitor or using it with x68000? According to a web search this syncs to 15khz so in theory would work. Have read some horror stories of LCDs frying the video boards on x68000 but I think my lil VGA CRT might be on the way out so looking for a replacement before it dies
I would look into some attenuation on the video RGB Lines as well as Sync.
I can't give you exact specs, but I know some game consoles and arcade boards voltage levels are too high for consumer video equipment.
And it's something that needs to be measured with an Oscilloscope and not a multimeter as the signal comes in waves and not a steady voltage.
The quick and dirty fix is adding some 1k adjustable pots to each RGB Line, start all way down at full 1k ohms of resistance and turn up till you get a reasonable picture.
Maybe some 220uF capacitors as well to provide some needed AC-coupling.
As for the Sync, this is a guess on my part but I seen Sega Genesis/Megadrive and Master System Scart cables have a 70Ω going into a 10µF cap on the sync line.
it might not be the right specs for your setup, and there alot of assumption on my part.
I know someone going to come in here and ether say I am wrong or provide some corrections.
