After finally getting the time to install my NESRGB in my Famicom Twin, I'm running into a weird issue.
I tested turning it on in disk mode while it was still open, saw the "Insert Disk" animation come up, a game loaded, I figured I was set. I put it back together, reverified that it worked (was nervous as i had to make sure to route the wires such that they wouldn't press on the NESRGB), and it worked great! Then I switched it to cartridge...
With or without a cartridge in the slot it shows wavy black and white lines on the screen. Switch it back to disk mode, works fine. I've reopened it and looked around for any obvious connections loose etc, but no dice. I don't see any burnt resistors or caps with obvious issues either. Anyone ever heard of this? Any recommendations?
I couldn't find a way to post a picture that didn't show up huge, so here's a link:

Stupid question, have you tried cleaning your carts or the cart slot?

Yeah, gave that a shot - no difference. I noticed that if I hold reset and turn it on in disk mode it makes the same display pattern until reset is released. Makes me think something isn't engaging for some reason...

Now that i'm less sleep deprived, I tossed a different cart in and it worked fine. Now to figure out why my Rockman cart isn't working, but at least my Twin is safe and has beautiful rgb out
