Super famicom to scart to jamma

Post by burgerkingdiamond »

I'm having trouble getting my super famicom to work on my arcade monitors. I have viletim's scart to jammy board and it works fine with my rgb nodded nes, xbox360, saturn, and Genesis but when I try to use the super fami it's no good. On my blast city I get sound but a fucked up picture (don't know how to describe but can post a picture). On my wells Gardner d9200 monitor I get sound and no picture (an out of range message appears). The scart cable seems to work fine because I don't have any problems hooking up to my PVM monitor. Does anybody have an idea? Or has anybody got the scary to jamma adapter to work for them with a super fami? Viletim was not able to give me any help so I'm on my own here. Thanks

I've got a 1st-gen viletim produced "Scart to Jamma" adapter along with both 3rd-party made Euro rgb scart cable + Japanese 21-pin RGB cables for use with my SNES console. Both aspects of video & audio work just fine with that particular gaming console. The S2J adapter works like a charm on my Taito Egret II candy cab with it's dual resolution 15.7kHz/24kHz format.

How are you connecting to your pvm?
Do you know if your scart cable is for a pal or NTSC? You can check here:
