Sync stripper using EL1883 IC

Post by xga »

Does anyone know if there are any off the shelf sync stripper devices that use the EL1883 IC?

Most sync strippers use the LM1881 IC and I know the gscartsw uses the EL1883 but I was after something like the Arcadeforge Sync Strike but with a EL1883 IC instead for true RGBHV output. E.g. SCART (RGBS) input and VGA DE-15 connector (RGBHV) output.

My SCART Breakout Box uses the EL1883 for sync stripping and can output both RGBS and RGBHV using a slide switch:

My SCART to Component Converter also uses the EL1883 for sync stripping, although its not simply a sync stripper but a complete converter (to Component Video).
