Gradius Soundtrack CDs

Re: Gradius Soundtrack CDs
Gradius Ultimate Collection is superb. Good sound quality, and comprehensive too. Covers all five mainline games plus Gaiden, ReBirth, both GB titles, the MSX trilogy, and lots of interesting variant OSTs from the FC, SFC, PCE and X68000. Plus other stuff! Shame it missed Gradius Generation (GBA), but it's still a helluva good haul. I highly recommend MSX Gradius 2 and 3's OSTs, by the way.
The companion Konami Shooting Collection is similarly excellent. Covers Salamander, Parodius, Twinbee and lots more. Get both of these collections and you'll be sorted on the Konami shooter OST front for a while!
For arranged music, I really like Suite Gradius Fantasia. The Konami Shooting Battle duo is good stuff as well, though most of my favourite tracks there aren't actually from Gradius games (eg its mighty, cowbell-tappin' takes on Thunder Cross's Machine Graveyard and Axelay's COLONY - turn these fuckers up boyeee!).

Thanks a lot. Quality soundtracks are hard to find these days with all the emulated uploads on YouTube.
