PAL snes schematics
PAL snes schematics
I only found schematics for NTSC versions. Are there such things for PAL consoles (SNSP)?
Re: PAL snes schematics
I never found some. But if you want to look up only some traces, you can use these scans here.
Is there something special you want to know?

Re: PAL snes schematics
Aren't they the same except the crystal is just a different rating?
Re: PAL snes schematics
No, there are more differences than just the crystal; especially on the non-1Chip boards!
Re: PAL snes schematics
Thanks for the scans. Well, I'm looking for a lot of things.
The first one is to know what is the component DA11 because mine is broken. And this component does not exist on NTSC boards.
The second one is the CSYNC signal. I'm tracking CSYNC on my PAL console. Sync stripper are en vogue right now (I used one for my gamecube). But I'm sure, there is a way to direct to CSYNC signal to the multi AV out instead of the composite signal.
The last reason is because I'm curious. I think I learned a lot about electronics looking at the NTSC schematics and trying understand things on the SNES motherboard.

Re: PAL snes schematics
Do you mean DA11 or DA13? This is a picture I made last year:

It's also possible to get CSYNC; but I don't exactly know how. I have to look for it once again.

Re: PAL snes schematics
I'm talking about DA11. The one marked BA23 on the SNSP-CPU2 scna and marked BA on the SNSP-CPU1 scan.
By looking at the X-RAYed mother board, I found that the CSYNC goes directly from the PPU-2 to the video encoder and nowhere else.

I already answered this question here: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=59278chomel wrote:I'm talking about DA11. The one marked BA23 on the SNSP-CPU2 scna and marked BA on the SNSP-CPU1 scan.

Re: PAL snes schematics
I know, but you said you weren't sure.
Also I wasn't looking for the schemas only for this.
