Yokemura from YMCK is streaming a few songs from the album live, right now, and discussing each track as he goes along.

Yeah, Chimeratio's track is insane.
Anyway, thanks for listening! We just posted the first couple of artist comments on the blog (by zinger, linde, Extent of the Jam and Simon Stålenhag): http://ubiktune.com/blog/2017/making-of ... ock-part-1
Extent of the Jam is louisg from this very forum by the way, also featured on SS1 + SS2.

I like the hand painted art very much. I paint myself and something attracts me to using traditional medium.zinger wrote:We updated the blog with a behind-the-scenes on the creative progress of the album covers, cool prototype art included.

A question: is there a chance we will see any in this series as physical CDs? I am a bit old fashioned and I like music on physical medium.
Cheers.

Re: SOUNDSHOCK 3: FM FUNK NIRVANA!!
Well, I'd love that: ideally I'd like to make vinyl copies available for all three albums, with bonus tracks and other extras... but frankly, it's too much work! Simply organzing and directing the compilations as they are now have been a very time-demanding and quite exhausting effort for me, which is one of the reasons I'm happy to consider SS3 a closing chapter. It'd be a whole different story if I could devote myself to this full-time of course, but considering it's a zero-profit project, that's not possible for me by any means. For now I feel like I need to catch my breath and focus on other stuff for a while, but that being said, who knows what will happen in the future!

Fans in Tokyo should check this out:
http://fmist1.peatix.com/
Keishi Yonao is organizing a listening (and drinking) party in Tokyo on May 18, and will be playing all three SOUNDSHOCK albums through a high quality club speaker system, which (according to him) has the potential to bring out a whole new dimension of this type of music (due to the distinctive characteristics of FM sound). Tickets are 3000 Yen. Seriously considering jumping on a plane for this.
