Big questions about arcade hardware.

Post by Milkgoat »

So this little local arcade mall near me is selling their machines for cheap. I asked the guy about a SVC Chaos cabinet and asked him if it was an MVS. He said it was a stand alone game claiming that if it were an MVS for that price he would have. Now if that's true, would you still be able to switch pcbs with the machine? Technically saying, could I switch out this SVC Chaos out for, say, a Final Fight pcb?

SVC Chaos and KOF2003 are known to come on PCBs, I don't know about other games.

I'd assume so, they're JAMMA PCB cabs like any other.

Both are Jamma from the pics. Basically anything Jamma will play on the cabinet. Which is about 85% of everything since 1986-8.
