White Pc engine video problem. Inverted colors + bad video

Hello,
I've tried searching all over the web but I cannot find anything about this issue. My wife and I just picked up some new pc engine games and when we went to go play them everything is completely messed up. Backgrounds and sprites are completely missing and the colors are completely off, almost as if things look inverted?
I have been using my turbografx rf and ac adapter cables but I tried different cables and tv's and wall outlets with no change. All my games have been cleaned as well as the Hucard slot. Just took it apart again to have a look and there is no corrosion on any traces or signs of leaky caps or anything. Everything looks clean and unmolested. System hasn't ever been modified in any way. Ive reflowed all the solder joints on the bottom of the pc engine motherboard with no change. I also thought that it could be a faulty rf unit on the console so I made a composite cable and attached it to the composite out and ground pins on the expansion port with female crimps but still having the same video problems.
The whole system is still running games perfectly and the sound is also still working fine. I just used this system two weeks ago with no problems.
The only thing I can think of is that all of a sudden the huc6260 chip just fried? Bad capacitors maybe? Majorly bummed out right now. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
