Simple 1500 vol: 35 The Shooting

Post by M0nk3y »

Just wondering what everyone thinks to Simple 1500 vol: 35 The Shooting/Shooter Space Shot for the PSone? I've read that it's not too bad for a budget release. Share your opinions please.

Cheers.

No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Hmm, did this also get a PS2 release as "Simple 2000 Series 2-in-1 Vol. 5: The Shooting & The Helicopter", or is that a different one.

It's perhaps the most maligned PS1 shmup, but the gameplay is very good. You can rack up HUGE scores, if you're into that, and there's a cool "dash" mechanic to take out enemy ships. Not the best graphics in the world, but for the price, definately worth picking up, IMO.

got it for cheap, but in the end not something i'll play. it seemed fine enough and all, but i don't like all the different scoring mechanics. interesting bosses though.
