They also mentioned a new Daytona game, known simply as Daytona Reloaded. Don't know if this is Daytona 3 or a compilation of all the Daytona series tracks with Xbox One/PS4 level graphics.Sega Press Release wrote: First up in the video category is Target Bravo: Operation Ghost a brand new two-player game brought to life in a 55” atmospheric theatre cabinet. Players are put in the shoes of a highly trained Special Forces agent. Then using precision shooting, quick reactions and brand new tools at their disposal players must complete their missions. With new weapons, gadgets and equipment, Target Bravo: Operation Ghost also allows players to start at any stage of the game, thereby encouraging them to come back and play their favourite stages again and again!

SEGA: Ghost Squad 3 & new Daytona
Sega is releasing a 3rd GHOST series game, called Target Bravo: Operation Ghost. It will come in a large screen environmental cabinet. Hopefully it will improve on the mildly disappointing Operation Ghost which had lukewarm graphics (like an original Xbox game TBQH) and play.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

where was this mentioned?

TBOG and Let's Go Island: Dream Edition will be at IAAPA 2016. LGIDE is a rehash of LGI, only in a new moving cabinet ala Dream Raiders.
Daytona Reloaded was mentioned at the AAMA Gala, but Sega didn't say jack else about it.
I have a feeling that TBOG could be just an update of Operation Ghost, just like Ghost Squad Evolution. Hopefully my D&B will get it, since they never bothered with the original OG.

Do you think they'll finally solve the issue with the guns breaking on the front switch hold area? They really need to address that.gameoverDude wrote:TBOG and Let's Go Island: Dream Edition will be at IAAPA 2016. LGIDE is a rehash of LGI, only in a new moving cabinet ala Dream Raiders.

That would be a good improvement. If you have set of the old guns with the front handle still on, pull them apart and pour some epoxy resin in the shells. It will make them last longer.boagman wrote:Do you think they'll finally solve the issue with the guns breaking on the front switch hold area? They really need to address that.

Thank you for that link. In addition to the extra information there was on Daytona 3, I had *zero clue* that "Sega Racing Classic" was simply the original Daytona USA done up with some 720 graphics and what-not. Stripping that game of the license *and* the music, though? That game must have been an absolute bust for operators. To this day, I've never seen one out on location.
I guess there's a reason for that.

I remember reading somewhere that Sega Racing Classic also had something else wrong with it, like a lower framerate. Not 100% sure on this, though.boagman wrote:Thank you for that link. The huge takeaway from this was that Maximum Tune 5 is being localized as well.

One of the upcoming games that is causing the biggest buzz in the player community is Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 (above). The “Maxi Tune series has the largest worldwide community of arcade driving game players, and every day around the globe, thousands of players tune up their cars by playing the game in order to compete with others. The U.S. Maxi Tune playing community, which stalled for a few years due to the small number of locations capable of running online games when Maxi Tune 4 was released a number of years ago, will be treated to a newly kickstarted series with Maxi Tune 5.
“It has been great to hear all of the positive feedback from U.S. players anxiously awaiting its arrival. We should be ready to go in November of 2016 so make sure your location is on board,” Cosentino advised.
One benefit of a game like Maxi Tune is its ability to bring in repeat traffic. Thanks to the video’s competitive features and worldwide leaderboards, communities of avid players have stayed active in the States even though BNAA hasn’t sold the game here in over six years.
“A typical American only visits an FEC one or two times a year,” Cosentino said. “But a Maxi Tune player will be there weekly!”
For more information on the iconic amusement company, visit its website at www.bandainamco-am.com and look for its newest games at the coming IAAPA show in November.
