Haha. That's some advice I guess. I'll take more commands and try and execute them/the most popular by tommorrow.

Durandal: digging may work if there's an abandoned mine beneath me/the ocean floor. Depends If I got lucky with the RNG.
That way I could find wood for tools.

Another option is just pick a direction and swim for it, see if i can find new land before starvation.

Swim off the island until you find land. Then punch tree trunks until you get enough wood to craft a crafting table and axe (with the crafting table), then get enough wood planks to build a house. If night falls before you finish building the house, just break 3 blocks on the ground directly below you and place one on top and wait until the monster sounds go away.

Yeah i'm an old hand at minecraft, I (mostly) know how to play. Which means i know how much digging underground with my fist will suuuuck.

So we've got 1 for swim, 1 for dig.

Get enough gold ore to construct a 20 block tall statue of a cock out of gold blocks (You can use Lapis blocks for the balls), then rig it up with redstone so that on command you can make a dispenser in the tip of it shoot out white wool and string

I followed the young'un's advice and tried to find better land.
Found an ocean stronghold, but going in there is suicide- sea creatures with ranged attacks.

I didn't communicate very well before - but the land is a desert biome, the sand isn't just the coast.
I tried walking along the shore till daytime or the landscape changed, got a few arrows in the ass. Punched a creeper away before it could explode and kill me.
Longest night ever, until..



Found a village.
They're full of docile NPCs that get attacked by zombers.
There may be crops or wood there.

I'm 2 hits from death and about to starve. There's bad dudes between me and the village.
What do?

I left the flower in a block of earth for them before leaving.
